5th Circuit ERISA LTD Victory / Nick Tsourmas, MD

Congrats to my law partner, Lonnie Roach, on another hard fought victory at the 5th Circuit on an ERISA long term disability claim.  The case is styled Scheuermann v. Unum and came out today.  It is an unpublished per curiam but we will post it on our website shortly.  If you need it, send us an e-mail and we can send it in pdf.

In a side note, Lonnie has now become a member of what I bet is a very small club.  He’s had Sparks, Yeakel, and Nowlin reversed.   Well done Lonnie!

For those of you with Nick Tsourmas, MD, as an opposing expert on back/neck cases, the 5th Circuit made some extremely helpful and useful observations about Tsourmas’ testimony on behalf of this insurance company.
