“I found Greg and his assistant, to be very professional. They were prompt with all correspondence and transactions. During my hearing, Greg was very supportive and well organized. He was able to keep me focused and on task. He brought to my attention areas of importance that I might not of thought to mention. I was very nervous and having someone that cares about your case in your corner was priceless! By the way, we won our case!”

Mr. Greg Reed was retained by a Dripping Springs client to help her with a disability claim.
Her claim for benefits included documented complaints of degenerative joint disease of the left knee, degenerative disc disease of the spine, coronary artery disease, obstructive pulmonary disease, obstructive sleep apnea, diabetes mellitus, major depressive disorder, panic disorder and fibromyalgia. Prior to the hearing, Mr. Reed obtained every single pertinent medical record associated with our client’s medical conditions and made sure they would be available for review. We also obtained medical statements from her doctors. She fought long and hard for her rights and placed her future in the hands of Greg to do battle with the Social Security Administration on her behalf.
We are happy to say we prevailed and that justice was served. A “Notice of Decision—Fully Favorable” finding was made by the Administrative Law Judge and our client was thankfully awarded full benefits.
In October, Mr. Reed took on a Cedar Park client who had suffered a perforated ulcer in April of the previous year.
Before his disability, the client was a small business owner. Unfortunately, he lost his colon and part of his small intestines and now required a colostomy bag. In addition he suffered from high blood pressure and congestive heart failure. He had a difficult recovery and suffered complications that required further surgery a year later. His surgeon instructed that our client avoid lifting anything over 10 lbs. due to risk of additional injury to his abdomen. This restriction made it impossible for our client to continue running his business or, in fact, from continuing in his profession at all.
We assisted him in his SSDI application and, after several medical exams at the request of the Social Security Administration (SSA) to verify our client’s condition, he was awarded benefits in May, with past-due benefits awarded from November of of two years prior.
Greg Reed, of Bemis, Roach & Reed, has been invited to join the American Board of Trial Advocates.
Founded in 1958, the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) is, according to its website,
… a national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the civil jury trial right provided by the Seventh Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. First and foremost, ABOTA works to uphold the jury system by educating the American public about the history and value of the right to trial by jury.
An attorney must have a specific level of trial experience to be considered by ABOTA. Membership is by invitation only, and those selected are invited because they “display skill, civility and integrity, to help younger attorneys achieve a higher level of trial advocacy and to educate the public about the vital importance of the Seventh Amendment.”

Kind Words from Our Clients
“The attorneys and staff at Bemis, Roach & Reed have provided me and my husband, Jeff, with stellar advice, care, and service. They made navigating the SSDI process easy, painless, and as timely as possible. During this difficult time in our lives it was a tremendous relief to know they were on our side and keeping us updated on next steps and timelines. We also had questions about my husband’s long term disability insurance and they helped us get those questions answered and resolved without any additional fee. I highly recommend Bemis, Roach & Reed.” – Kelli G
“I needed a lawyer for my case and had googled best lawyers. They came up first on my list and decided to give them a call. From the moment I called I knew I chose the right people. They said they would fight for me and fight they did. They knew what they were doing and kept good communication throughout the process. If you need someone that will listen, understand, and fight then these are the people. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.” – Marcel L.
“I’ve had a great experience working with Bemis, Roach & Reed for my disability case. I spent two years fighting on my own, until I was informed to look for a disability lawyer. Right away, sending in questions was a breeze, and from the moment my case was accepted, everything became a major weight off my shoulders. My newest appeal was filed for me, my medical records and case history sorted for me, and I could finally focus on my appointments and treatment with a little less worry. Everything was explained to me in a way that made sense, the process was set out in an easy to understand way. And, just like that, at the beginning of July 2023, my claim was accepted!” – Sunshinemutt
